I think that the just way to play multiplayer in ICR2 is using the dial modem in direct connection to another dial modem...It's not possible using a Local Network config...I tried, but...
Why don't we (everybody) try play in rFactor?
Rfacto don't run on my computer. And I'm not fan of open mod sims. Also there is no tracks for full season in rfactor.
Well, we can try play Nascar 3 or Nascar Legends...Every people here (who plays ICR2) may play N3 and supports IPX network, and the game is very soft....
If people want try, I'm ready...We can schedule day, hour (because the time fuses, I'm in Brazil, major part in USA, Sander and Tjerk are in Netherlands...)...

I like it. I'm from Belarus (GMT+2). It will be better for me to race on friday or saturday. On Sunday I race in GPL league sometime.
We can try next saturday? Between Brazil and Belarus i guess there are 6/7 hours of fuse tag...We could try when will be daybreak (fri/sat) (2 or 3 am) here in Brazil...
