Good call Pavel and of course happy birthday Indycar Racing II !!!!
I started my first website back in 1999 (or maybe it was early 2000), called CREP (CART Racing Editing Project). It only had a single IRL carset then but soon I got into track editing and things grew from there. When I lost interest in ICR2 for a while, that site was taken over by Wolf_PD who was already running the IIRS then if I remember correctly. When I returned to ICR2 we merged both our efforts into this website. The front page opened on November 15 2005
I'm very happy with what we've been able to do here and even though I don't create content anymore myself I'm still pretty proud of this website
Also great to see that there is still quality content being produced for the game after all these years. I feel like my set of editing tutorials was a worthy goodbye to active editing from me and whenever it is used by someone else to learn and make something new, i'm tickled to bits

Back in the late 90s I remember asking a Dixon shop assistant if ICR2 would work on Win98ME, since the box cover highlighted Win95/Mac. There was a short pause before he replied with "uhh, yes..?" no too confidently.
Happy birthday ICR2!

I bought ICR2 in 1996 when a my father just bought a new computer (the later is 386 that ran very bad the Nascar 1)...I used the Citra Squeese #74 ICR2 paint...
