The way I see it, we need the following tracks (with objects & graphics) I know Stig did quite a few of these, and given his current "track record" (pun)- his geometry is VERY accurate. STIG I still have your "source" data for the tracks you sent me.
Rio (work in progress)
Tamiami (probably the next easiest)
Denver 90 91 (not as busy as detroit, but still a city circuit)
Detroit 89 90 91 (this will be the ultimate accomplishment)
Some others that would be nice to do:
Sanair 85
Chicago "cicero" oval (they drove there in 99 and 2000 I think? - the 'paperclip' oval) not to be confused with the track in Joliet which I've been at before
I would also like to revamp Long Beach 1992-1997 (because the track isn't very accurate from Papyrus)
and Belle Isle (92-97 original configuration)
Agree with this prioritization. Definitely makes sense to take small steps towards this big goal. I've already seen that Rio is much easier now that I have learned so much from Caesars.
I think track has too high walls. Usually high walls are at ovals. And street courses have walls made of concrete blocks that are not highere than the indycar.
Fantastic, from memory Denver (90's) has pit lane issue where there is a pileup in the pits, Houston (late 90's) crashes, Detroit '99 has issue where the cars that pit under yellow overtake the pacecar & lap everyone else. can't think of any others at this stage that are either not there or have issues. there could be more but i have forgotten them.

I thought Pavel did a remake of 90s Houston?

pinned thread with all Tracks listed/linked in the OP?
This would be awesome as it seems the community is now right onto this which is great. also a pinned thread for the best car sets even tho they are in the archive some i have found via other links & they were mentioned on here.

How do we change the walls to be lower? Can this be done with trk23d or would you have to edit the 3d file manually?
It can be done with pitwall.txt
Inside this file you can set wall height for every boundary. By defaul trk23d set all walls to 24000. Original Papy tracks have heights for concrete walls 21000 and for armco 18000 (or 17000).
