Forum has been really slow lately. I have been watching but there hasn't been activity.
I however am working on something that went wrong at my house, which is preventing me from doing pretty much anything right now. So, no ICR2 for me.
Hopefully I'll have things fixed soon so I can get back to having fun. I have to get back to practicing at Sears Point when I can play again.
Hope all of you are having a good 2018 so far.

I've just been busy with school, work, and playing GT Sport and Project Cars on my PS4 Pro. (I got it this past Christmas, I'm loving it!) I'll still fire up ICR2 not to play, but just to look at the detailed cars from different years and reminisce about the old days. I've still been checking here often and hoping for someone to make a fully detailed Rio oval. We have the track itself and LP files on this site, but it is missing any background details like buildings and such.

I don't play any games newer than the 90s. I like 16 bit and 8 bit emulation.
I have 3 cars (real cars) and a huge workshop but the 2nd furnace out there has been acting up and I've been trying to fix it for a month. It's really stressing me out. I have a backup furnace out there but it's 30 years old and it could break any day. I have a carwash inside of my shop, and if it breaks the water will freeze and cause a ton of other problems.
I also can't get good heat into my paintbooth so I can't paint the JDM rear bumper of my racecar. I bought a bumper from japan this summer and I need to paint it. I also have to make a custom crash beam support from underneath (I tig weld) and I need to modify the exhaust to make it work. I'm trying to build up my talents because I have 2 dreams to make my life complete.
1) I want to import and build (completely rebuild) a Nissan Skyline GTR 34. I have to wait until 2024 to import one because the USA won't allow those on the roads here until they are 25 years old.
2) I also want to buy myself a mid 90's Reynard. I was amazed that you can actually buy an old champcar for between 50K and 100K. I saw someone bought Emmo's 1989 indy winner for only 20K!. There is a guy I follow that built a 99 or 98 swift a few years ago. I don't have the driving talent to handle one of the champcar engines, but I want to put a built Evo engine (4g63t) in the Reynard (same engine I have in my evo) You can easily get 500, 600hp from those and I can only imagine in a car with that weight it would be a rocket.
These 2 things would make my life complete. I'm an engineer (both mechanical and electrical) with no kids, no family, no wife, no life really lol.
As far as your Rio oval it is on my list. I have to get everything back in order until I can really dive into hardcore track editing.
(I can't imagine having the time or money to do these things if I had people in my life!)

Good luck with fixing your shop @samsepi0l. I've been busy with other things, too, but still checking back in here once in a while. Looking forward to the new season of IndyCar!
