When you did the bridges.... how did you set up left vs right objects on the SAME side? Like- how did you pick which side to put the cross-way links? Is there any logic to making this decision?

When I place objects and make 3do's with multiple things interacting together I think about (and read) some of our old posts (pavel, yours, dennis, etc) and they make much more sense to me now. I find I do better when I can plan ahead and chose objects to be combine together wisely. I really see the benefit of doing this now.

Latest news is that the 2024 Nashville Indycar race gets a different layout than previously announced and will be shorter and faster.
The race will take place on the superspeedway, that's why

Honestly - in my opinion the best thing we did (checkpoint10 did) on this project was learn the track centerline gap limitations for icr2. If we wouldn't have done that, I would have struggled much more figuring out how close sections around eachother could be. This helped me in denver (turn7 and 12 are really close) and especially in long beach (making the hairpin much tighter than ever thought possible). So there was extreme value to this nashville project that goes beyond just making this one track. Just my opinion on how I see it. This is why I like working with such a smart group of modders for this game even know our community is very small. We need to keep tightly knit together.

And I thought going into the Nashville project that it would just be a fun and easy warm-up for the Detroit project. Turned out to be the bigger challenge (or headache)!
At least now I'm off the hook to make the 2024 Nashville layout. I noticed that we already have Nashville Superspeedway thanks to Pavel! |
