For Windy track palette is restricted, colors 0-24 and 246-255 should not be used. For load screen mtshotc.pcx and ldiagram.stp are used. I'm fixing some of my tracks for Windy now Smiley

My Windy.exe doesn´t work anymore. it doesn´t even start anymore. My laptop display is broken, so i bought a new monitor, thats the only thing i changed. New installation of the game didn´t help. i tried every compatibility mode, from win95 to win8. Not working. My OS is Win10. Can anyone help pls?

@donshooter This came out recently from hatcher (he does amazing work with GP2) and may help your problem.  Download his patch and put it in the same folder as your windy.exe and run it from there.  I had to make an exclusion in windows defender because it triggered a virus warning.  Also make a cfg file to run it fullscreen (it's explained in the download).

Hi, my name is Scott. I used to play IndyCar Racing 2 back in the day. When I found out you can still play IRC2 now, I was beyond excited. I watched your tutorial and installed RReady; everything worked. Well, kinda, I'm using an Xbox controller, and I can't get it to work. I don't think it even sees the controller. Can you please help?

Hey Scott,

sharangad was helping me trouble shoot an xbox wheel for a friend. I would imagine you can try the same steps to get your xbox controller working.

Thank you so much for the information you gave me, but it didn't work. I tried 4axis, 4axis_,2, and auto, but nothing.I know my controller works and ICR2 works, but I still can't get the controller to work. It will not even calibrate. I uninstalled everything, and tomorrow I'm going to try to install IRC2 again. Is there anything I need to do differently? How do I reset DOSBox mapper file?
