not that I know of, but I think this could be done if we reverse engineered the way the sounds work
I would like to change the tone of the 3 engine choices so we can get some different sounds. Right now in drivers2.txt it uses engine choice 0,1 and 2. I would like to use engine choice 0 for a deep tone like an early 80's stock block V8 I would like to use engine choice 1 for a turbo v6 buick / menards style sound I would like to use engine choice 2 for a traditional 2.65L indy turbo engine

If you set the drivers2.txt engine numbers to something greater than 0,1 or 2- it will go high pitch because it doesn't know how to deal with this. If we knew how to disassemble the code and learn how it works- we could probably just change a coefficient which would change the pitch. A typical v8 indy engine of that time (illmor, mercedes, chevy, cosworth, honda or toyota) would rev to about 14k. A buick or menards engine would rev to about 10k A stock chevy block N/A V8 (like some ran in the early 80s) would probably rev to about 7 or 8k. These sound like nascars. I would love to know how to scale these - but I'm not smart enough...
