Newbie to painting. Need some help.

Hey guys. I've played ICR2 fora long time, but have been mostly playing N3. What I need help with is that I want to start painting with the original carshape so JRO248 would be able to convert them to n3. I just need to know if there are any layered templates or layered liveries that I can use to make my own cars? I figure not only can I help contribute to the N3 community but the ICR2 community as well. I can make IRL and F1 cars using the original carshape.

There are some templates, but I am not sure they are there for the original shape. You can check either the Archives at CRHQ or check out SCW's ICR2 section.

Here are the templates I found for the original carshape, they are for 1995-97.

They dont look like what I have as a template. Is there any difference between ICR2 and Cart Racing?

In terms of carshape and template, not. The template Kakukri uploaded is for the original carshape. They can be uploaded to the paintshop.

Ok thanks guys. So do I paint first, then upload it to the paintshop, right? By doing that will it automatically shade the template?

Nope.

No such thing in ICR2.

You have to do it manually.
