Just a reminder for those who get ESPN Classic: They air two-hour condensed versions of "classic" 500s every year. Unfortunately, they seem to have forgotten the meaning of the word "classic" this year, but there are still a couple worth recording. This year they are showing:
1987
1992
2005
2007
2008
and an episode of "Sports Century" focusing on Al Sr.
It's all on Saturday.
Versus is also airing 1 hour's worth of stuff each day this week, but it's all "Top 10 Finishes", "Top 10 Crashes" and stuff like that.
Too bad ESPN Classic is running such recent races. I was able to record 1981, 82, 85, 86, 87, 91, and 92 over just a couple years earlier this decade.
