I did it the first time.
Now I am no virgin anymore!!!
Well, ummm.
It was very sexy, yeah.
The result of it was my first conversion of a N3 track to ICR2 format.
But somehow I don't know what to do with the ICR2 3do file. For example how to put the "groove" away.
Oli,
If I recall from n3 to n99 conversion days, all we used to do was give the grove.3do a negative number. Might have been -9999999, or you could replace it with another blank 3do file.
I came home from my job and I looked the versions of WinMip that I have.
It is the version 2.0d and the version 2.16
They are stangely different than 1.2 that I had years ago.
Version 2.16 cannot open 3do files at all (just textures...) and in version 2 I was able to alter the groove line. But nothing was saved in the track 3do!
There was no line similar like "Update 3do".
Just updating someting to another format...
What is stupid? Is it the program or is it myself?
The groove is inside the <track>.3do file, so can not be removed by replacing it with an empty .3do. But use an old version of 3doEd and using the tutorial BazMeister linked to should have the job sorted in minutes.
