I've got it running!

After 2 days of frustration I finally have it running. Smiley
Sound is fine and my gamepad is seen (although it only sees the RH stick and 2 buttons).

I've even installed the Indy speedway and a 1993 carset which I found I had laying around on a CD of "stuff".

Just two questions:

My display doesn't fill the full screen of the laptop - it is a smallish rectangle in the centre. Still perfectly playable (so long as I wear my glasses!) but is there anything that can be done to have a larger display?

Second question is that, although the image is in the higher of the resolutions that were available back then, is there any way to have Rendition emulation?

Other than those two minor items, I'm delighted to be transported back to the days when Papyrus were on top of the tree when it came to motor-racing sims.

Great fun! Grin3

ICR2 is able to recognize two joysticks: (2 axis + 2 buttons)x2= 4 axis + 4 buttons

Do you have nvidea videocard? If yes, then maybe you have enable 'fix resolution' in nvidea control panel.

i don't have experience with your OS for specifics, but check around in the dos-window properties, look for a full-screen setting.

AFIK the only way to get rendition graphics is to use a rendition graphics card, unless there's a rendition emulator out there. that version was developed in partnership with rendition, and was only available bundled with their cards.

For the small rectangle in the middle of the screen, go to the ingame graphics settings. Then click advanced and either check or uncheck Use DirectDraw. That make a difference for me.

Sorry, but I don't quite follow.
By "ingame graphics settings", are you referring to the Options > Graphics menu?
If so, I can't recall seeing anything labelled "Advanced" or "DirectDraw".
Maybe they are on the Windows version? (I have the DOS version).
