Gamepad Calibration

Felt nostalgic today and installed ICR2. I played way back in 1996 originally until about 1999. Anyway...

I am attempting to calibrate my gamepad with ICR2. It seems to calibrate okay but the calibration seems to flicker at the 'centers' even after calibration. This leads to the game automatically cycling up and down through the main menu.

This is using a Xbox 360 controller with the Microsoft Wireless Receiver, all in Windows XP. Using DosBox 0.74

Anyone have any ideas?

Went the VDM Sound route and not calibration is improved. Thanks for the help here on the forums!

If I remember well pressing 'J' on the keyboard disables/enables the usage of joystick in the menu.

This does not solve the calibration problem, but at least works around in the menu.
