Hi. I have several versions of an ICR2 track that I want to compare in the game. Unfortunately they all use the same name for the track folder. Since I can't have multiple folders with the same name in the TRACKS folder, I was wondering if it's possible to rename the folders so I can switch between them in the game's track selection screen. I have tried renaming the folder and making the .dat and .txt files in the folder match the name of the folder but when I select that track in the game I get a "problem loading track" message. Is it possible to change the name of a track folder? If so, how do I do it? Other ideas or suggestions?

I think the embedded .DAT information refers to the folder name, so that unless you can get into the DAT then you must stick with the name already given to the folder.

Inside the *.dat file are a few files you will need to re-name-
(EXAMPLE)
Monza.trk,
Monza.3do,
Monza.cam
Monza.scr
Renamed to -
test1.trk
test1.3do
test1.cam
test1.scr

and in the trackname.txt files, give them all different TNAME. that is what shows in the track selection screen.
